Working Principle
The cyclone desander is based on the principle of centrifugal sedimentation and density difference. When the water flow enters the equipment tangentially from the desander inlet under a certain pressure, a strong swirl movement is generated. Due to the different densities of sand and water, centrifugal force under the action of centripetal buoyancy and fluid drag force, due to different forces, the clean water with low density rises and is discharged from the overflow port, and the sand with high density is discharged from the sand discharge port at the bottom, so as to achieve the purpose of sand removal. Under a certain range and conditions, the greater the water pressure of the desander, the higher the sand removal rate, and multiple units can be used in parallel.
Features
1. Economical and Practical: simple structure, low cost, easy to install and operate, almost no maintenance.
2. Space Saving: Compared with sand removal equipment such as expansion pipes and buffer boxes, it has the advantages of small size, large processing capacity, and space saving on site.
3. Wide Range of Applications: river water, well water desanding, coal washing water, industrial mineral processing, solid-liquid separation, liquid degassing and separation of immiscible liquids, etc.
Technical Parameters
Install and Use
1. During normal operation, it is necessary to open the water inlet and outlet valves and close the sewage valve;
2. When the sand storage tank is storing sand to a certain height, it should discharge sewage. When draining, open the drain valve until clean water flows out;
3. After the sewage is discharged, close the sewage valve;
4. If the sand discharge pressure is insufficient, the valve at the water outlet can be closed.
Notes on Installation of Cyclone Desander:
1. The desander should be installed on the main pipe of the water supply network and fixed on the base. A bypass should be added between the inlet and outlet pipes.
2. In order to ensure that the inlet water flow is stable, a straight pipe with the same diameter as the water inlet should be installed in front of the equipment's water inlet. The length is equivalent to 10-15 times the diameter of the water inlet.
3. Sufficient maintenance space should be reserved around the equipment during installation.
4. During normal operation, the inlet and outlet valves need to be opened, and the drain valve and bypass valve need to be closed.
5. Regularly discharge sand and decontaminate the source water according to the sand content of the source water. Open the discharge valve when discharging sewage. The discharge process will not affect the normal water use of the system.
6. After the sewage discharge is completed, close the sewage valve.
7. If the sand discharge pressure is insufficient, close the valve at the water outlet.
8. This equipment does not have the function of filtering impurities. If there is a requirement to filter impurities, a filter must be installed.
